Chander Uday Singh is a senior advocate practicing in the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi.

He was a late entrant to the practice of law.  Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, he started out by returning to his agricultural roots, and ran a crop farm followed by a small dairy and milk supply business.  He then worked as a journalist (Bombay Correspondent for ‘India Today’, a newsmagazine), and during his four-year stint with that magazine, he earned his Bachelors in Law from the Government Law College, Bombay (now Mumbai).
